Being respectful in stressful times

Do you know this? Do you look at the clock before the meeting to work out how long it might take and how you're going to fit in the next urgent meetings, discussions and deadlines?

Growing together through appreciation and understanding

Especially in stressful times, it can be easy to lose respect for one another. But right now, it is important to treat each other with respect. This not only strengthens team cohesion, but also promotes a positive working atmosphere.

Stress often brings with it pressure and high expectations. Managers and employees face challenges that require patience and empathy. Respectful interaction is not a nice-to-have here, but a necessity. When we value each other, we create an environment in which everyone feels heard and understood.

Here are some small but effective building blocks to promote respect:

  1. Active listening: Take time to really listen to the other person. It often helps to simply be there and show understanding.
  2. Giving feedback: Constructive feedback is essential. It shows that you value each other's work and are willing to grow together.
  3. Promote transparency: Openness about challenges and decisions creates trust and reduces misunderstandings.
  4. Show appreciation: Small gestures of appreciation can go a long way. A simple "thank you" can make a colleague's day much better.

Output - Being respectful in stressful times

In stressful times, it is respectful interaction that keeps us together as a team. It's the little things that make a big difference.
